If you like Colin, and would like to make him some buddies, you can find the rest of the Little Zoo Animals below (as well as some other related patterns).
Like with all the other Little Zoo Animals and , this pattern uses short rows for shaping. Short rows are just rows that do not begin or end where rows traditionally begin and end. In other words, you work partial rows back and forth to shape the face, and then continue on in rounds again.
I am super excited to present Colin the Crochet Crocodile. He is the fifth Little Zoo Animal (and my third collaboration with the talented and very funny Anette Bak).
We received a Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo to review. My boys love the Little People line of toys. Since this set is geared towards children ages 18 Months up to 5. This made it the perfect toy to entertain ALL THREE of my boys at the same time! My 14 month old, 3 year old, and recently turned 5 year old boys all huddle around the toy and play together! As the play zoo is large and has play areas on both sides it is easy for them to share the toy and play together. The only problem is they do bicker over the 4 included characters. Once we pulled out some more animals and characters from our other Little People set it was all giggles and smiles! They LOVE the built in slide on the playset and even send the animals off the ice platform down the side and off the teeter-totter as well!
